Wet Deck Installation Permitting Procedure
What permits do I need to install a wet deck for staging timber downed by the hurricane?
The Northwest Florida Water Management District (NWFWMD) knows the clock is ticking for salvaging downed timber, so they have agreed to a quick process. To install a wet deck storage area, simply call the NWFWMD at 800.913.1518 or 850.539.5999 to notify them of your intentions. You should be told to begin work on it and they will follow up at a later date with the necessary permits. If you have any questions, please call Alan Shelby at the Association office at 850.222.5646.
