The third day

Day 3: Sunday, February 5

10:00 – 11:00
Opening of the plenary session

11:00-12:00
Discussion
Flora protection. The plant world, or flora, is very sensitive to changes in environmental factors and is a clear indicator of the amount of anthropogenic impact on nature. Plants are the most vulnerable to human activity, and given the current state of the biosphere, their protection has become an important complex international task.

12:00-13:00
Discussion
Fauna protection. The biomass of animals is only 2% of all living things, but due to the high level of energy processes, great diversity and high mobility, the role of fauna in the biosphere is very important.

14:00-15:00
Report
Reserve business. Modern thorough ecological and economic calculations and modeling carried out by scientists from different countries show that more or less normal functioning and self-renewal of the biosphere of any region is possible only if there is at least 10-15% of the area occupied by nature reserves in this region.
